New PacPrint educational sessions will 'help businesses increase profitability' PacPrint13 has increased the educational component of the show with the introduction of business improvement workshops. The workshops will tackle a diverse range of issues, including financial management, succession planning, energy efficiency, social media, the NBN and government assistance. Many of these issues were raised during PacPrint's recent industry survey. Sessions will be held at 2pm and 3pm from 21-24 May. They will be repeated several times during the show to ensure visitors don't miss out. PacPrint13 will also continue with its forum series, which will tackle the big issues being faced by an industry in transition. The business workshops and forums will be free. "Essentially, these [business] workshops will be 'meet the expert' sessions, where visitors can gather valuable information on topics of interest in short, sharp sessions which will be totally focused on the requirements of our industry," he said. "Educational opportunities… are an integral part of PacPrint and we are excited to be providing another source of ideas, opinions, information and advice to help businesses increase their competitiveness and profitability." PacPrint13 will run from 21-25 May at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
